E-Governance
Over the past few years, Government has pioneered and succeeded in implementing a host of e-governance initiatives that have brought out far-reaching effects in terms of service delivery to the citizens and improving the efficiency in functioning of the government. This has laid a strong foundation for rolling-out e-governance solutions in many more departments that are still in the primitive stages of computerization and have a huge scope for value-adding additional solutions and services. Government is implementing the much awaited State Wide Area Network (SWAN) project. The primary objectives of SWAN project is to set-up and Operationalize a dedicated network connecting the state capital with all district and Taluk headquarters across spread across the state. Currently, the project is in the process of being rolled out. With the intent to enable the state government to leverage the best benefits of SWAN, Vande Softtech has envisaged rolling-out e-governance solutions for select government departments. Having analyzed the present level of computerization, the actual needs of these departments and benchmarking these with global standards, Vande Softtech intends to implement state-of-the-art end-to-end e-governance solutions. Once these solutions are implemented on a full-scale, the functions of the government departments can be integrated to the benefit of various stake-holders. The present synopsis identifies these departments and specific solutions that could be implemented in these departments. A dedicated web-portal which will be a pivotal information gateway to all departments of Government will be a primary part of the initiatives envisaged by Vande Softtech.
Vande has the following features to offer for the E-Governance software:
